ABOUT LYNN :

I am a self taught artist with experience in art for over 30+ years. I have taken many workshops combining travel in Ontario, Mexico, Italy, France, Turkey and Australia. My early foundation in watercolours, using only primary colours and no drawing, quickly taught me how to see shapes, value and colour. From there, I have continued my passion with great joy to keep experimenting art that makes you feel good. My paintings are inspired by nature and are a cross between landscape and abstraction. I love to work with acrylics, oils, and mixed media. I am also skilled with bronze, clay sculpting and encaustic.

Today my passion is colour and simple abstraction. It gives me feeling of being empowered and freedom to play. Wherever I am, the piece I am working on has to speak to me and be pleasing to my eye. My passion is to express space, colour and shapes that have a connection in togetherness created on the canvas.
