VOLODYMYR’S ART STATEMENT:
My name is Volodymyr Ivanchuk, and I am an artist from Ukraine. From a very young age, I felt an irresistible urge towards creativity and art. Initially, art was my hobby, and then it became my profession. As I grew up, I delved deeper into various painting techniques and the use of colors. My paintings reflected my emotions, thoughts, and perception of the world around me. In 2014, I obtained a bachelor’s degree, and in 2017, I graduated from the Lviv National Academy of Arts with a master’s degree in graphic design. While I greatly appreciated the profession of a designer, my heart was drawn to applied arts, specifically graphics and painting. This led me to work on a project for three years, creating a substantial collection of paintings that traveled to international exhibitions, receiving positive feedback and sales. I attended art courses and workshops, where I acquired new knowledge and skills. This led me to gain an additional profession as a 2D artist and work in the gaming industry. However, my desire and love for painting with traditional mediums persisted, so I continued to develop in all directions simultaneously. Gradually, my work began to find its place among friends and family, and then among a wider audience. My creativity encompassed diverse themes and ideas, ranging from abstract art to realistic portraits. Each artwork was a way for me to enrich my inner world and express what can be challenging to convey in words. Interactions with fellow artists and the exchange of creative ideas helped me grow as an artist. I always remained open to new experiences and experiments in my work. In my pieces, I strive to blend traditional techniques with a contemporary approach to create something unique and unforgettable. My dream is to travel the world, exploring various cultures and seeking inspiration for my art. I believe that art has the power to change the world around us, evoke emotions, and stimulate contemplation. I am ready to dedicate my life to this noble goal. Thus, through my artworks, I strive to convey my perception of the world, inspiring and leaving an imprint on people’s hearts.
