UWE STARK’S ART STATEMENT:
My name is Uwe Stark and I am a freelance artist from Schweinfurt, Northern Bavaria, Germany. A focus of my work is painting with acrylic or oil paints, abstract or concrete, on paper, canvas, stone, wood or tiles. Another focus is creating sculptures – mostly made of clay, but also made of cement, stone, wood or paper mache.
Since April 2023 I have had my own studio “ART&SOUL”, where not only my own art has been created since then, but also that of my course participants since July 2023. I offer courses in SOULPRINT, HAPPYPAINT, DOT-ART, CLAY-ART, STONE-ART and recently also in BASKET WEAVING.
Every beginning is… sometimes pure coincidence! When I came into contact with acrylic painting and clay modeling for the first time as part of art therapy in spring 2021, these media immediately excited and captivated me. This was followed by several courses in fine art, as well as a lot of self-taught experimentation.Packing experiences, dreams, feelings in paint and putting them on a canvas is something wonderful. Forming a sculpture with clay, forgetting about time, watching the creation and directly feeling the material is not only a tactile but also a visual-emotional experience. I would be happy to share my passion with you!
