UWE STARK’S ART STATEMENT:
My name is Uwe Stark and I am a freelance artist from Schweinfurt, Northern Bavaria, Germany. A focus of my work is creating sculptures – mostly made of clay, but also made of concrete, stone or wood. Since April 2023 I have had my own studio “ART&SOUL”, where not only my own art has been created since then, but also that of my course participants since July 2023. I offer courses such as CLAY-ART or STONE-ART, as well as other courses in abstract painting and basket weaving. Every beginning is… sometimes pure coincidence! When I came into contact with clay modeling in addition to painting for the first time since my school days as part of art therapy in the spring of 2021, I was immediately excited and captivated by this material. This was followed by several art courses and a lot of self-taught experimentation. Forming a sculpture with clay, forgetting about time, watching the creation and directly feeling the material is not only a tactile but also a visual-emotional experience. I would be happy to share my passion with you!
