ABOUT MARTA:

Marta Zygmunt, fascinated with abstract painting, departs from realism and creates her own world by drawing on her inner experiences. she transforms her personal experiences into a new painting quality. she calls his abstract compositions „inner landscapes”. The artist cares about a deep relationship with the audience through her art. The energy of her paintings provokes the viewer to reflect on nature and sense of what is contained in individual painting cycles.

The painter consciously and consistently strives to develop her own individual formal and color solutions. The area of inspiration focuses on the process of moving from intuition and memory exploration to thoughtful concepts. Painting motifs undergo changes during the painting
process, and the plane of the painting takes the form of interpenetrating structures. The multicolored surfaces of the paintings can evoke associations with carpets, rugs once hung on the walls to decorate.
