“I did not choose art, it was a necessity”
Ignacia Fabry was born in 1986 in the city of Viña del Mar, Chile. From an early age she began to shine on her own in the area of literature, which led her to study this subject and then later to stand out as a columnist, short story writer and editor in different magazines and publishers.
Based on the need to create and explore, she began with her first approaches to painting at the age of 26, dedicating herself in a self-taught way to study and practice painting in different techniques to this date.
At present, as a consolidated artist, Ignacia Fabry presents us with a sequence of exhibitions that collect different currents of art with her own deeply rooted identity, all present in each piece of her works.
Ignacia emphasizes that her art comes from the subconsciousness, her works do not respond to a projection from the rational consciousness. She expresses symbolisms drawn from the depths of her being and then imprints them on the canvas fabric.
